The planning, preparation, and coordination behind a lavish wedding or event can be staggering.
Our goal is to customize our services to each individual client, with the intention of bringing details
to your event that fit within your established budget. Below is a brief description of what ChristieLea -
Events to Celebrate can handle for you. We can accommodate a wide variety of details related to your
event in any location. We will be with you each step of the way, from the inception of your event
to the fine details you may not have even considered.
The initial meeting is designed to develop a working relationship and discuss the inspiration and vision
for the event. It usually lasts between two and three hours, and serves to establish a solid foundation for
moving forward with the details required to plan, coordinate, and execute your event.
- Based on the ideas discussed at the initial meeting, ChristieLea will design a custom celebration
for you, complete with a proposal and budgetary guideline for the services required and a
selection of locations to host your event. Please keep in mind that the time to design a proposal
may vary greatly due to the elements involved in your event (rehearsal, rehearsal dinner,
ceremony, reception, dinner dance, and more... including activities that may be
scheduled for the duration of your celebration, etc.)
- ChristieLea - Events to Celebrate will design and execute all related/ancillary
events at your request: showers, special parties, etc. which will match and/or
compliment the main event in theme. We will suggest location(s),
establish timelines, develop themes, and find perfect favors
that reflect the nature of the event.
- We will hire and manage vendors for all related products and services, distribute deposits with
contracts and present final payment. We will coordinate vendor in-out times, provide them with detailed
maps and directions, arrange for parking and meals and - if necessary - travel and lodging.
- ChristieLea can provide you with the design and professional printing of invitations, menu cards, seating cards, escort cards, thank-you notes, table numbers, and any other signage necessary for your event.
If your event includes a destination, we'll even prepare a travel portfolio so your guests know what
to pack. All materials created will reflect the event's overall theme.
- We will suggest and coordinate a photographer, videographer and take care of scheduling
photo sessions strategically to allow you the most time with your guests.
- ChristieLea will coordinate all lighting; specialty, area, entertainment lighting, etc.
- We will consult with caterers concerning menu options, dinner presentation, and types of service.
- We will coordinate the perfect type of entertainment for the style of your event; from live
music to a DJ, dancers, etc. We will work with the entertainment directors to ensure a smooth
performance from start to finish, work within a preferred scope of material, and
alert them if there are songs you wish (or do not wish) them to play.
- We will coordinate all rentals and equipment (i.e. tents, dance floors,
specialty linens, tables, chairs, etc.) including strike
and general clean-up post event.
- We will track expenses, payments, and final balances due. You will be provided periodically
with budget updates in order to maintain control of event costs, and develop a comfortable timeline
for all events including optimal timing suggestions for toasts and other highlights of the event, and
provide cuing for each. We will distribute timelines to all participants and vendors in order to
ensure a seamless flow to your event.
- We will work with your travel requirements as necessary.
- Two to three weeks prior to your event, we will meet again to finalize all details and address any last
minute concerns you may have. Throughout this process, we will provide you with unlimited
contact via e-mail, telephone, and fax.
- At the main event, we can greet, orchestrate, and direct the wedding party and guests.
We will ensure the ceremony and reception run to schedule, assist the photographer(s),
manage the timing of the event, and hire assistant coordinators with two-way radios to
ensure proper timing and a smooth flow. At the end of the event, we'll make sure that
the packing of items is done sufficiently and the location is left as specified
for the return of any deposits.
